Nick Porco
Nick Porco is head of litigation at Porco Levy Zavet LLP. Mr. Porco and the litigation department at PLZ Law handle a wide variety of cases including business disputes, personal injury matters, and employment disputes. Nick Porco has also arbitrated and litigated construction disputes involving defective workmanship; defective designs; contract terminations; contract defaults; and contract bidding and award issues. Finally, Nick Porco has represented clients in claims for additional compensation arising from delays in implementing construction schedules.
Nick Porco attended the John Marshall Law School where he received his Juris Doctor and graduated cum laude in 1994. Following law school, Nick clerked for Presiding Justice Stouder at the Illinois Court of Appeal Third Judicial District where he gained valuable insight into how the Court of Appeal deals with complex legal issues. From there, Nick became licensed by the Law Society of Upper Canada, and worked at a downtown Toronto bay street law firm before he ventured out on his own.
Nick Porco has appeared before all levels of courts in Ontario and currently specializes in cases related to business disputes, landlord and tenant disputes, business torts, construction disputes, employment disputes and personal injury.
